Acceptable Use Policy

The customer is solely responsible for its Transat Telecom account and for its use by itself or by any other person having access to the account. The customer agrees that Transat Telecom shall not be liable for the use of the service. In addition, the customer agrees to notify Transat Telecom of any unauthorized use of his password or account.

The customer agrees that the use of the service will be carried out only by himself and by the persons living at the same address of the account. The customer is strictly not entitled to share the service with a different address than the account; Any sharing of service with the neighborhood entails serious penalties.

By using the services of Transat Telecom, the customer or any authorized person undertakes not to :

Defame, abuse, harass, harass, threaten or otherwise violate any other person's rights, including, but not limited to, the rights of minors and rights to privacy and image.

Display, transmit, link to or distribute in any way material or information of an inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful nature.

View, transmit, link to any software or information containing viruses or other harmful or disruptive components. In addition, the customer agrees not to post or distribute any illegal material, including documents exploiting child pornography, juvenile or other slanderous, obscene, hateful, threatening, racist, ethnically offensive or defamatory materials that are reprehensible In itself, or which in any way encourage conduct constituting an unlawful act.

Use Transat Telecom's e-mail service to view, transmit or facilitate the creation or distribution of chain letters, spam, or other unsolicited multiplier messages, such as surveys, contests, and pyramid schemes. In addition, the customer does not have the right to forge logos or otherwise manipulate identifiers of any kind in order to conceal the origin of any content transmitted via Transat Telecom's E-mail service.

Upload, post, publish, transmit, reproduce, link to, or distribute in any way, any information, documentation or software obtained through the Service or any derivative product that is protected by Copyright or any intellectual property right, without obtaining permission from the copyright holder.
